AMG Global Merges TV Division With AMG Visuals, Sets "I Love Funny Women" with The "Y" Network

The production company behind "Backstage Kitchen", "The Track" and the producer of "Rock On !!!" together will forge a studio to create, acquire, package, sell, produce and finance international content.
AMG's television production arm is teaming with AMG Visuals to form an independently staffed studio with the goal of creating and distributing content for the fledgling production firm.
The partnership will originate, acquire, package, sell, produce and finance original content for distribution on all platforms. The studio will combine the talent roster, IP origination and packaging skills of AMG’s Entertainment division with AMG's production, distribution and marketing expertise internationally. Together, the companies will produce and finance scripted & unscripted offerings and create new opportunities for AMG’s talented roster of visual clients.
The first project under the new AMG Visuals studio deal will be "I Love Funny Women" in collaboration with The "Y" Network which AMG production execs Mark S. Berry, Bobby Tarantino and Duane Farley will Executive Produce alongside the shows originators Dina Nina Martinez & Paige Brien's "I Love Funny Women" banner.

AMG Visuals, meanwhile, is the independent studio behind AMG's up coming series including the cooking show "Back Stage Kitchen", horseracing reality show "The Track" along with the infamous guitar oriented "Rock On !!!". The company, part of AMG Global, which also owns The AMG Corp, develops, produces and finances film and TV for distributors including Sony, Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount and Fox as well as HBO, ABC, Netflix, Apple and Amazon, among others. AMG was founded by award winning record producer Mark S. Berry, and operates under his leadership and expansion plans. AMG currently enjoys a partnership with SMG (Shami Media Group) providing content to over 108 DSP's internationally.

The deal arrives as production companies, agencies and management companies have increased their push into content creation as they look to create new opportunities for their clients and share in the financial success of projects.
